"My journey to kashvi is a story of two worlds meeting through love. Originally from India, it was love that brought me to Germany over a decade ago. Today, as a mother to a four-year-old, I live at the heart of these two cultures.
Stepping into entrepreneurship was a leap of faith. I am nervous but excited. My vision is to build a modern European brand that refuses to downplay its roots. kashvi is the bridge: a brand where products are lovingly hand-crafted in India and curated specifically for Europe. It is a blend of India’s vibrant mastery and a sophisticated European aesthetic, created for those who value high-quality, soulful design."

kashvi – Not Just A Name?
In Sanskrit and Hindi, kashvi means radiant and shining. This definition guides every piece we create. Our designs are intended to make you shine from both the inside and the outside.
On a personal level, the brand is named after my daughter. By combining her namesake with high-quality, certified textiles from India, we are building more than just a label. We are creating a legacy of integrity and beauty that represents everything she inspires.
The Symbol: Genda Phool
Our logo, the Marigold, serves as the ultimate symbol of our dual heritage:
- In India (Genda Phool): Known as Sthulapushpa, these flowers are the soul of every celebration, symbolizing purity and auspiciousness.
- In Europe (Mary’s Gold): Since the Middle Ages, these golden blooms have been symbols of devotion, once offered in place of gold coins.
The marigold is phototropic—it instinctively turns its face toward the sun. This makes it the perfect living embodiment of the name kashvi. Just as the flower opens to the light, our hand-made collections are designed to evoke your inner glow.
Our Home: Bocholt, Germany
kashvi is proudly headquartered in Bocholt, a city where the rhythmic rattle of looms has echoed for over 400 years. This connection is deeply personal: my husband’s family has been part of the Bocholt community for nearly three generations.
Once a global heart of textile production, Bocholt’s brick-lined heritage reminds us that a garment is only as good as the craft behind it. By rooting ourselves in this German tradition of excellence and marrying it with the artisanal hand-craft of India, we create products that are built on history and designed for a radiant future.
